Recent incidents have highlighted the critical importance of maintaining robust computer security to ensure uninterrupted access to Paragon.

To safeguard your Paragon account and prevent similar issues, we recommend to all users to regularly take the following steps:

  1. Run a Malware, Spyware, and Virus Sweep: Regularly scan your computer with reputable antivirus software to detect and remove malicious programs that could compromise your account.

  2. Check Browser Extensions: Verify that your browser extensions are safe and from trusted sources. Malicious extensions can hijack your account and send unauthorized emails.

  3. Secure Your Passwords: Never share your WVMLS login credentials with third-party applications, including AI mailing assistants or other tools. Use strong, unique passwords and change them regularly.

  4. Perform Local Troubleshooting: Ensure your system is up to date with the latest security patches and that no unauthorized applications are accessing your account.

By taking these precautions, you can help protect your access to Paragon and maintain a secure environment for all users.

To access a listed home in the Willamette Valley MLS, you need the Supra eKey App. This is pretty convenient, since WVMLS Members can get eKey for only $11 a month!

Sometimes, though, an out-of-area (non-member) broker wants to show a listed property, so the listing agent can give them a SUPRA MANAGED ACCESS CODE – for an hour or a day...the listing agent controls the duration. There are rules in place to keep this process safe and efficient – specifically on WHO can be provided access.

Here are some guidelines on who you can grant Supra Managed Access Codes to:

  • Buyers should NEVER be granted direct access to a Supra lockbox! Not even with the seller’s permission.

  • Supra Managed Access Codes MAY be given to Oregon Real Estate Licensees and Oregon Licensed Appraisers

  • An out-of-state license does NOT qualify for access to WVMLS lockboxes. Must be an Oregon licensee.

  • Other seller-approved AND licensed and bonded AND fully vetted professionals (such as contractors or home inspectors) may also be granted access at your own risk. (See vetting tools below.)

  • Always verify the identity and license status of the recipient before sharing access codes.

These guardrails are crucial for risk management purposes, to ensure compliance with policies, and to maintain the safety and integrity of our system for your clients, our members, and the communities we serve.
