What is Paragon Connect:

Paragon Connect is a responsive* future-state version of Paragon. It is accessed through an internet browser and contains the same live-data that it's counterpart Paragon Professional houses.

How to Access Paragon Connect:

Paragon Connect can be accessed multiple ways, below are a few:

If Not Logged in to Paragon Professional:

1. Click "Paragon Login" on wvmls.com from a mobile device, if it is your first time visiting this login on your device it will come up with a prompt asking if you'd like to proceed to Paragon Connect.

2. Go to https://wvmls.paragonrels.com/ParagonConnect/wvmls/login to login.

If Logged in to Paragon Professional (these methods will automatically log you in to Paragon Connect):

1. Click Paragon Connect in the main menu (located next to Preferences).

2. Click Resources in the main menu and then Paragon Connect in the dropdown menu.

Features Exclusive to Paragon Connect:

• An improved reverse prospecting tool that works off an opt-out system. Read more about this feature.

• The ability to setup Hotsheet Alerts which are targeted searches that you can utilize to stay current on market happenings in the targeted area(s). The alerts are in a Widget on the homepage of Paragon Connect and can be manually checked on login. Read more about this feature.

• EasyCMA a CMA creation tool that allows you to create a CMA presentation for Residential subject properties.

• Customizable Themes. Allowing you to choose from a set of banners and customize the colors in the application.

  
  

Common Misconceptions about Paragon Connect:

Misconception: Paragon Connect is really only for use on Phones and Tablets.

Reality: Paragon Connect was designed to be responsive* and works on Desktops, Laptops, Mobile Phones, Tablets, and other devices that have an internet browser.

Misconception: Paragon Connect doesn't have the same features as Paragon Professional

Reality: Paragon Connect has almost entire feature parity with Paragon Professional. At time of writing the main features missing from Connect are a full-featured CMA Wizard and Statistics module.

The Benefits of Using Paragon's Price Analysis tool for Listing Prices.

You can use the Price Analysis tool to assess the price of a listing by examining the Potential Buyers and see where price adjustments compare to any AVMs that are accessible.

Within Paragon Professional

The Price Analysis tool can be found on any saved Full, Partial, or Subject Property Listing on the listing maintenance screen. Note: On Partial and Subject Properties you will need to fill in details in order for the tool to find results.

By utilizing this functionality, an agent has the ability to click on the Price Analysis Button and examine the current price and Potential Buyers. Additionally, the agent can input a new price into the interactive widget and click the recalculate buyers button to gauge the impact of the price alteration on Potential Buyers.

This is a great tool to use when helping your sellers decide on a selling price, or maybe motivate a potential buyer to sell their home.

NOTE: The Potential Buyers Number is based on all saved search notifications setup in WVMLS Paragon whose search criteria match that particular listing.

Within Paragon Connect

The Price Analysis tool can be found on any saved Full or Unpublished Listing on the listing maintenance screen. Note: On Unpublished you will need to fill in details in order for the tool to find results.

To utilize the Price Analysis tool in Paragon Connect in Listing Maintenance click or tap the Price Analysis button (pictured below.)

Note: on a mobile device or smaller screen click or tap the overflow button (3 dots stacked vertically) to access the Price Analysis button.

How To Setup A Hotsheet Alert In Paragon Connect

In this guide I'll go over how to setup a Hotsheet Alert to keep tabs on New Preview Listings in a specific City. Click or tap the Main Menu icon inside of Paragon Connect.

Select "Properties" to access the search options.

Choose the "Hotsheet" option.

Specify the duration for the Hotsheet: enter the number of days back or select "Since Last Run." Note that if you use a date range, no additional results will appear after the end date. For this example, 3 days back is selected.

Under "Filter," check "New" to ensure only listings new to the system within the Hotsheet period are displayed.

In the "Criteria" section, select "Members Only" under Listing Visibility Type to filter for preview status listings only. Then, choose the desired class and city. For this example, "Residential" and "Salem" are selected.

Instead of clicking or tapping "Search." click or tap the "Save" button.

In the new window, name your Hotsheet (choose a name that reflects your criteria) and check the "Hotsheet Alert" box.

After receiving a green "Hotsheet is saved" confirmation, you can click or tap "Search" to view the current results. Your Hotsheet Alert will now appear on the Paragon Connect homepage. From the widget, you can view updates (the last 3 days of new preview listings in Salem) or all results.

If you don't see the Hotsheet Alert widget after scrolling, customize your homepage widgets. Click the "Customize Dashboard" button in the top right corner of the Paragon Connect homepage.

In toolbar that appears, click "Add Widget"

Select "Hotsheet Alerts," then click or tap the "Add Widget" button. Finally, click "Save" on the toolbar to add it to your homepage.

You can also use this toolbar to rearrange your widgets or hide the buyer activity section on the homepage.
