Your Quick Guide to Paragon's 'Skittles' More Than Just Icons

When viewing a full detail within Paragon Professional, you may have noticed some small icons below the primary image. These have been nicknamed 'skittles' here at WVMLS, and they are quick shortcuts to useful information! Some skittles may not appear if there is no corresponding information available, such as the Open House skittle if no Open Houses are scheduled.

Here is a list of the icons and what they do:

Map - Brings up a map with the property location pinned.

Associated Documents - Takes you to the associated documents for this listing.

History - Brings up the Property History Detail showing prior listings associated with the property as well as status changes.

Tax - Takes you to the property's tax records on CRS Tax Data.

Supra Keybox Settings Report - Takes you to this report if a lockbox has been assigned to the listing.

Walk Score - Takes you to the property's Walk Score with the location pinned.

Zipforms: Start A Transaction - Takes you to Zipforms to start a transaction with this listing. (Must be signed into Zipforms on your browser for this integration to function correctly).

RPR Property Details - Takes you to the Property Details for this Property on RPR.

Open House - Takes you to information regarding upcoming Open Houses for this listing.

An Intro To CRS Tax Data

As part of Willamette Valley MLS, you gain access to the MLS Tax Suite, powered by CRS Data (also referred to as CRS Tax Data). This powerful tool allows you to search statewide property records, create Comparative Market Analyses (CMAs), and prospect for potential clients.

To get started with CRS Tax Data, sign in to Paragon Professional, and click "Tax" in the main menu at top, and "CRS Data: Tax Search" from the dropdown menu:

The first time you access CRS Tax Data, you will be presented with a End User License Agreement (EULA). Read through it and accept the terms to access the platform, or decline if you do not agree:

If you accept, you will be directed into CRS Tax Data, where you can begin searching for property records:

Note: There is no separate login credentials for CRS Tax Data you will always need to login to Paragon first to access the platform.

What is Paragon Connect:

Paragon Connect is a responsive* future-state version of Paragon. It is accessed through an internet browser and contains the same live-data that it's counterpart Paragon Professional houses.

How to Access Paragon Connect:

Paragon Connect can be accessed multiple ways, below are a few:

If Not Logged in to Paragon Professional:

1. Click "Paragon Login" on wvmls.com from a mobile device, if it is your first time visiting this login on your device it will come up with a prompt asking if you'd like to proceed to Paragon Connect.

2. Go to https://wvmls.paragonrels.com/ParagonConnect/wvmls/login to login.

If Logged in to Paragon Professional (these methods will automatically log you in to Paragon Connect):

1. Click Paragon Connect in the main menu (located next to Preferences).

2. Click Resources in the main menu and then Paragon Connect in the dropdown menu.

Features Exclusive to Paragon Connect:

• An improved reverse prospecting tool that works off an opt-out system. Read more about this feature.

• The ability to setup Hotsheet Alerts which are targeted searches that you can utilize to stay current on market happenings in the targeted area(s). The alerts are in a Widget on the homepage of Paragon Connect and can be manually checked on login. Read more about this feature.

• EasyCMA a CMA creation tool that allows you to create a CMA presentation for Residential subject properties.

• Customizable Themes. Allowing you to choose from a set of banners and customize the colors in the application.

  
  

Common Misconceptions about Paragon Connect:

Misconception: Paragon Connect is really only for use on Phones and Tablets.

Reality: Paragon Connect was designed to be responsive* and works on Desktops, Laptops, Mobile Phones, Tablets, and other devices that have an internet browser.

Misconception: Paragon Connect doesn't have the same features as Paragon Professional

Reality: Paragon Connect has almost entire feature parity with Paragon Professional. At time of writing the main features missing from Connect are a full-featured CMA Wizard and Statistics module.
